What is a custom made dress?

Custom made pieces are unique and made to measure for you. They can be inspired by one of my existing designs, by something you have seen elsewhere or by a new design, but they will be adapted to your body and personality. Fabrics will be chosen specifically for the dress and design. The process is very personal and different for each customer.

How far in advance should I place my order?

Please plan for a minimum of six to eight months before your event date for a Custom Design.

What if I need my dress in less than 6 months?

Designs can be ordered less than 6 months in advance, however I will charge an additional cost for a rush order.

Can you explain how a custom-order works?

The first meeting, a Meet and Greet, is normally an on-line video consultation, so we can get to “know each other” and so that I can understand better your personality and requirements, both of you and of your event. 
This results in an order for designs, that are sent to you in a short time, it is a preview of one or more designs and different ideas for the Piece;
The second meeting normally takes place at the customer’s site; in this fitting session measurements are taken, a design is selected and an estimated price is fixed.
At the second visit the mockup of the dress is getting fitted and any last design changes decided.
Delivery of the final product (shipment or personal), with the possibility of a final fitting if needed.

How much does a fashion design cost?

The process for designing a custom made piece involves a lot of research and will cost a minimum of €500. The payment will be asked at the end of the first meeting.

What is the price range?

The average price for a Custom Design is €3000-8000. Luxury materials and customization options may add cost. All prices may vary depending on additional requests & rush delivery.

How many fittings do I need?

Normally, after the online meeting, you only need three fitting, one for taking measurements, one to try the mock up and one for the final product; I can ask for more fittings if the design needs it.

When is the payment due?

1/3 of the price will be asked at the end of the first fitting, when the measurements are taken and a final design decided.
The second 1/3 payment will be asked at the second fitting.
The last 1/3 and remaining balance will be asked when the piece is ready for delivery.

Where do the fittings take place?

The first meeting will take place online via video, all other fittings will take place at the customer’s personal location. A price may be added depending on the distance of the location from the Atelier.

Can we have a meeting before putting in and order?

Yes, an online video meeting will take place before any custom-order is placed. To arrange it please use the contact form or send me an E-mail. 


What is made to order?

The pieces available in the boutique are made to standard measures (see the size chart) and are available in a limited number of pieces, fabrics and colours. They are made to order, so you should allow for 4-6 weeks for your purchase to be ready and shipped. Prices are fixed and published on the site.

What is the price range for a Boutique piece?

Prices in the Boutique are between € 800 and € 4500, and are fixed; however, if you would like some customization for your made-to-order piece, we can discuss, and I will provide you with an offer.

How far in advance should i place my order?

Allow a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks for a Made to Order piece.
